Sheryl Vicenzo Baxter (born January 2, 1995), known mononymously as Sheryl, is an American singer, songwriter, dancer, and actress. One of the most popular contemporary female recording artists, frequent focus of paparazzi and tabloids. Sherlyn was born on January 2, 1995 in Memphis, Tennessee, the only daughter of American engineer Dean Baxter (November 17, 1968) and a Spanish flamenco dancer Elisa Maria Vicenzo (October 3, 1977– January 30, 2005). The family moved to Los Angeles, California when she was 7-month-old, and two months. Sherlyn's mother, die on January 30, 2007 of pneumonia, at age 32, when Braxton had 10 years old.
